Description
To get to the stage in the process when the candidate is resigning is great, but it is also a dangerous time. Resigning can be a difficult time for people with many, often competing emotions that can cause problems. The most obvious concern for the recruiter is the potential of a counter offer. But there are plenty of things that a recruiter can do to make this phase easier, smoother and reduce the risk of a counter offer acceptance.
This course will cover a range of practical and emotional tools that can be used to make sure that the resignation process is handled in as straight-forward a way as possible and that counter offers are accepted less frequently. There are even some examples of resignation letters - good and bad - - along with the importance of controlling our own emotions at this critical stage.
Objectives
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
Manage a candidate professionally through the resignation process.
Be aware of the potential risks and concerns at the resignation stage.
