Description
This is the 'certificate' version of our Building a Placement course. In this course, you will find 10 modules covering: The Placement Process, Qualifying a Job Brief, Candidate Search, Candidate Qualification, Presenting Candidates to Clients, Interview Preparation & Debrief, Offer Management, Resignation Management and Managing 'No-man's Land'.
You must work through these modules in a set order and you will find a short test at the end of the modules to test your knowledge. Finally, there is a more comprehensive assignment to complete once you have finished all the modules. There is also a 'flexible access' version of this course which allows you to revisit modules as many times as you wish. Contact you manager to see if you are to be enrolled into this course once you have completed the certificate version.
Don't forget to download and complete the booklet that accompanies each module. You will find this at the beginning of each module or by searching your 'resources' tab on your Learnupon dashboard.
Objectives
The overall objectives of this course and to provide techniques and approaches to enable a recruiter to drive more processes through to successful completion. Effective qualification of candidates and job briefs, managing both parties through the process, minimising delays and handling any issues at offer stage and resignation will help to achieve these aims. Below is a list of more specific objectives.

Objective 2 - To be able to take a Job Brief professionally and to qualify a Brief properly.
Objective 3 - To have a range of search tools and techniques to generate a large number of candidates.
Objective 4 - To be able to judge and qualify candidates - both generically and against specific roles.
Objective 5 - To know how to present a candidate powerfully to a client.
Objective 6 - To be able to thoroughly prepare candidates and clients for interviews.
Objective 7 - Have skills and techniques to enable an effective debrief with candidates and clients.
Objective 8 - To be able to manage offers quickly and efficiently.
Objective 9 - To manage the resignation process and minimise counter offers.
Objective 10 - To deal with the 'gap' between offer acceptance and start date to avoid drop outs.
